Условие (кратко)
a) Работа в парах: по подсказкам 1–5 (имя и страна, например Lyn/South Africa) спросить и ответить, откуда человек, какой он национальности и какая столица его страны — по образцу.
Решение
Каждый мини-диалог из трёх вопросов: Where's … from? — What nationality is he/she? — What's the capital of …? Местоимение выбираем по имени: Lyn, Mary, Sue — she; Tom, Bill — he.
- 1 Lyn — from South Africa, South African, capital Cape Town (образец в учебнике).
- 2 A: Where's Tom from? B: He's from Australia. A: What nationality is he? B: He's Australian. A: What's the capital of Australia? B: Canberra.
- 3 A: Where's Mary from? B: She's from the UK. A: What nationality is she? B: She's British. A: What's the capital of the UK? B: London.
- 4 A: Where's Bill from? B: He's from the USA. A: What nationality is he? B: He's American. A: What's the capital of the USA? B: Washington, D.C.
- 5 A: Where's Sue from? B: She's from Canada. A: What nationality is she? B: She's Canadian. A: What's the capital of Canada? B: Ottawa.
