1 Have we got any onions? — в вопросе any. Yes, we have got some but we need more. — в утверждении some. 2 How much rice have we got? — rice неисчисляемое. Not much. We need to buy a packet. — рис продаётся в пачке (буханка — только хлеб, тарелка — суп). 3 Would you like a cup of tea? — вежливое предложение. Yes, I'd love one. — one заменяет «чашку» (a cup of tea); I'd love to говорят в ответ на Would you like to + глагол, а здесь глагола нет. 4 Can I have some apples? — просьба. Yes. How many would you like? — apples исчисляемые. 5 How about spaghetti tonight? — How about …? «Как насчёт…?». I don't think so. — «Думаю, нет». 6 Would you like some more ice cream? Yes, please. Just a little. — ice cream неисчисляемое.

Any — в вопросах, some — в утверждениях, many и a few — с исчисляемыми, much и a little — с неисчисляемыми.
