Решение
Рассказы — о том, что бывает обычно, поэтому Present Simple (с he/she — глагол с -s). Some — в утверждениях, any — в вопросах и отрицаниях; «Как насчёт…?» — How about …?
1 My favourite holiday is New Year. We decorate our flat, dress up and exchange presents. Mum cooks something special for dinner for the whole family. We love chicken and rice with vegetables. Dad buys a pineapple and oranges, and Granny bakes a special cake. In our country December and January are cold months. We don't have parades in the streets, but we set off fireworks.
2 — How about eggs and sausages for breakfast? — Great! I love sausages. Have we got any cheese? — Look in the fridge. — There's a little. I like bread with cheese and butter. Make some tea, please.
3 — Masha, go to the shop, please. — OK, Mum. — Let's make a shopping list. We haven't got any cabbage or carrots for the soup. And buy some tomatoes and onions. — Can I buy some biscuits? — Yes, buy some biscuits and bread.
4 My sister always has a party on her birthday. We decorate her room with balloons. Her friends bring presents. Mum bakes a birthday cake. I buy ice cream and strawberries. We sing, dance and play games. It's fun!

Привычные праздничные действия передаются в Present Simple, а количество продуктов — через some в утверждениях и any в вопросах и отрицаниях.
